Primary Election Tomorrow – If you can, please vote

Tomorrow is Primary Day in New Jersey. If you are a registered Democrat or Unaffiliated (Independent) voter, please take a few minutes to vote for *Gary Schaer* along with his partners, Marline Caride and Senator Paul Sarlo. *This year, Gary is facing a challenge in the Primary, so it is important to vote for him*. I know first hand the great work that Gary has done for not only this community, but for all Jews in New Jersey. He regularly receives calls and provides assistance on matters of important to New Jersey Jewish communities like Lakewood and Edison. Thanks to Gary: 1) A Jewish child placed in the foster care system will be placed in a Jewish home. 2) Teachers must schedule makeup dates for Jewish Students when a test is scheduled on Yom Tov. 3) Elections cannot be scheduled on Shabbos or Yom Tov. Locally, Yeshivos have received technology dollars because of his efforts. Gary is also a Prime Sponsor of the only school choice bill in the Assembly with a realistic chance of becoming law. Governor Christie has expressed support for the bill and many organizations have put a lot of effort into getting the bill passed soon, IY’H. Please take a few minutes and vote for *Gary Schaer*, Marline Caride and Paul Sarlo. Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thank you. Yaacov Brisman
