New Shiur For Women

*Do your kids ever ask you questions about yiddishkeit that you’re not sure how to answer? Do you ever wonder if you have to always buy Bodek if you’re planning to mash up the broccoli for a soup anyway? Is it better to tell your kids to put down muktzeh on Shabbos or just turn a blind eye? Can you tie your tichel in a double knot on Shabbos if you know you always untie it when you take it off during the week? Do you or don’t you have to cover uour oven doors on Pesach? In fact, do you find you’ve forgotten half of the halachos of Yom Tov by the time it comes around the next year? * If you answered yes to any of the above, read on…..! We are excited to announce the start of a new monthly shiur for the women of the Shul, given by the Rav, shlita, every Sunday of the month closest to Rosh Chodesh. Each month there will be a new topic and the women of the Shul are encouraged to submit their questions ahead of time, so that the Rav can review them before the Shiur. We have put together a Google spreadsheet which is open to everyone to access at any time. The first page provides a place to submit questions for that month’s topic. There is also a second tab with a page of other possible topics, and women can submit any questions under the appropriate category. Any Yom Tov that falls that coming month will be the focus of that month’s Shiur. Here is the link to the Google spreadsheet: http://bit.ly/1jwCAJt *The first Shiur will take place on Sunday December 8th at 8:15 p.m., for an 8:30 p.m. start (prompt!) and everyone is encouraged to begin submitting questions now. * For questions or comments, please contact Claudine Baker: claudbaker@hotmail.com or 973.572.8848
