Clifton City Hall – Zoning Meeting this Wednesday (Clifton Cheder)

Dear friends and neighbors, We are reaching out to you on behalf of the board and the children of the Clifton Cheder.
B”H the Cheder has been doing a beautiful job serving our community – many happy faces who love to come to school and learn. The Cheder has been growing and we have gotten to a point of purchasing a spacious building that our children deserve. We are now in the process of zoning the new location at 1333 Broad St in Clifton. We are facing a stiff opposition from the neighbors who do not want a school zoned in their neighborhood, despite it being a permitted use and requiring only minor variances to be granted.
About fifty neighbors and their attorney attended the last zoning meeting to protest our efforts. They would rather see an empty office building than our thriving school in their neighborhood.
The children in our community need your help to turn out your support — to have a school building they deserve. Let’s not let our community be marginalized! Please come to the exclusive zoning meeting this Wednesday, May 10th at 7pm at the Clifton City Hall and bring your children, friends and neighbors! Located at 900 Clifton Ave, Clifton, NJ. Please get as many friends and neighbors involved in this effort as possible – numbers make a big impression here. Thank you for all your support and may we all see much nachas from all children in our community! All the best, The Board of Directors of the Clifton Cheder
